In this way, the delicate silk is protected from being pulled too hard in one place, and it better spreads as it flows. All edges are stitched to extend the life of the poi. Hand painted bright colors with soft gradations on 5 mommes of lightweight real silk. Fabric is intentionally crafted to be neither too soft nor too weak to better withstand the wind. Washing is not recommended. If you must, wash it carefully by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. A free handy carrying bag protects the poi during travel.
